I would give this place more stars if I could. The food and service are nothing short of amazing. One of my favorite restaurants. The chilaquiles mexchata and cafe de olla are just some of my favorites. Somehow I could not find a pic of the chilaquiles and it may be because I end up eating right away. The pic I posted is my honeys favorite plate from there - carne de res and salsa de mango. I don't even have to tell him twice to go because his answer is always yes. lol! The beautiful decor and just the homey feeling this place gives off is something I always look forward too. Can't wait to go back.

Came to this place for breakfast after a morning workout with my friend. Let me say, the chilaquiles is amazing. The frijoles- flavorful, the tortillas- crunchy, eggs- cool perfectly, and the chicken- well season and cook in an amazing flavor. The service was great. We came in and put our name down. Didn't wait too long we got a table. The price is reasonable. Would definitely come back here!

Love coming here! The service is great and the customer service is excellent! Every time I go I am greeted and my order is taken promptly after being seated. The food is sooo good! My favorite are the enfrijoladas catedral style and the green chilaquiles. Highly recommend coming here but do note that you need to get on a waiting list. They have a nice patio with seating for the summer time.

Came here with family last weekend and it was a great experience! Place was full bottom to top with people so use the waitlist in advance. service was excellent, iced and hot coffee tasted great, with the juices pleasantly surprising! The variety of chilaquiles really makes this place stick out along with other delicious paninis, crepes and breakfast style dishes. You've got new clients!

Can I just say that they probably have the biggest coffee I've ever seen and we got the smaller size! The service was great! from start the finish, the employees communicate and make sure you have a pleasant experience. There was a bit of a wait but we walked in so it was expected. The cafe de olla was so comforting!! I loved the sweetness and it paired well with the corn bread. The chilaquiles were great! We got red and green to try both, definitely leaned more towards the green. My husband LOVES chilaquiles so he was a bit more critical but I loved it overall. I definitely want to come back to try their other dishes!

Well yelpers this is the last review for 2024. The Mrs. & I had a late breakfast here. It was our first time here. And it was a good experience. It's a beautiful restaurant. So nice and cozy with some beautiful art. They seated us in one of the best seats in the house. The customer service was great. I felt very welcome to be there. 9.5/10 Now for the food. Their specialty is their Chilaquiles. Soooo that's what we ordered. The chilaquiles verde & It came with refried beans. The Mrs. had a café de olla chico and I had a Grande Chocolate Abuelita! They both came with a waffer. My wife said her café was a 3/10 it was to sweet for her liking. I didn't have any but I like a sweet coffee so it could be better to me. My hot chocolate was great. Different from the normal hot chocolate. It has a spice of some cinnamon. Very good. 8.2/10 The chilaquiles was the reason we was there. The potions are most definitely a bang for your buck. The chilaquiles is very saucy with a verde sauce that has a nice kick to it. The tortillas had a nice texture of crunchy & smothered. Very good flavor. It comes with sour cream (optional) and queso fresco. Very good dish. 7.8/10 I had a side of bacon with mines. I like crispy bacon, this wasn't. Typical for most places. 3/10 All in all I will return to check out some other dishes on the menu. They made us feel so welcome and provided service with a smile!! Have a safe & prosperous 2025 Happy New Year Yelpers! Remember all reviews are subjective!

Love this chain restaurant. I've officially eaten at both locations and it was well worth it. The wait times are insane so I highly recommend putting yourself on the waitlist in advance. Do yourself a huge favor. Our servers were very generous to my girlfriends. I ordered the chipotle chicken panini with a cup of the hot chocolate with added egg nog. When I say BOMB... you must try both items. Even if you don't get them together, try one and save the other for later. The hot cocoa was made in heaven and the added egg nog is too rich and creamy to be from the store. Idk where they made it but they should never get rid of it. The chipotle chicken sandwich was fyeeee. Like omg and they give fresh cut fries. Honestly I have zero complaints about this establishment.

Great authentic Mexican food! I came during a weekday morning and we did not have to wait for a table. The customer service was superb too. The decorations are quite interesting. For food, I got a cafe de olla and green chilaquiles. The cafe came with a galleta Maria, which was a little stale but the coffee itself was good. The chilaquiles had a little acidity to them due to the tomatillos but it was tasty - had a bit of spice to them! Definitely worth stopping by if you're in Chicago
